In 1978 Hugh McGillivray started Mountain View Imports. He was already an experienced import car Technician having 8 years of independent import training and experience under his belt. It was time for him to prove to his customers that there was a better way to repair cars and a better way to meet his customers needs. After all he wanted to treat his customers the way he liked to be treated. That seems like the only right way to do business. We hope that you agree.

In the years that followed, Mountain View Imports grew and in 1980 Hugh built the shop that is still in operation today. Then in 1990 when he needed to expand his parts and inventory he added another 1700 square feet to accommodate the demand.

Mountain View Imports now sells over-the-counter foreign car parts to walk-in customers and on occasion even to other shops & even car dealerships.

In the process of growing, Mountain View Imports has invested in the latest diagnostic tooling and equipment. We are a Bosch Authorized Service Center. That means that our technicians have the training and specialized equipment to repair all Bosch Fuel Systems.

Finally, we stand behind our work. We warranty our parts and workmanship  for 12 Months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first.
